AMPRAPALI LEISURE PARK SOCIAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION

What it has done?

“ALPSWA”, Amrapali Leisure Park Social Welfare Association ( Regd.) took its birth in a desperation of over 1600 flat buyers of “Amrapali Leisure Park” Project, Greater Noida (West) on denial of their legitimate right of possession of flats, they paid for, on due date and thereafter and harassment of the Builder, GNIDA , other authorities and officials even after continuous visits, persuasions, processions, demonstrations,, press conferences, media coverage, lodging of FIRs, write ups with PMO, meeting local Political leaders, housing ministers and so on.
To file a case against the Builder in NCDRC, New Delhi, under the Consumer Protection Act, it was suggested advisable to do so as an Association, but no registered association of the project was found for the purpose and thus “ALPSWA” was formed after series of meetings , keeping its registered office at Flat No.432, Affordable Housing, Village Gorhi Bachhera, Sector “Mue” Greater Noida, U.P and the same was registered with Registrar of Societies, Firms and Chit Fund , Meerut U.P certificate granted under registered No. 035681 , elaborating approved aims and objectives, which included following in addition to other Social causes and Obligations:
“ TAKING UP THE MATTER AT ANY FORUM TO PROTECT LEGAL, SOCIAL, FINANCIAL INTERESTS ETC OF ITS MEMBERS”
Immediately subscriptions were called through whatsup group “ ALP Buyers” , account was opened in the name of Association on 16.5.2016 and a separate whatsup group “ALP Legal Warriors” was formed and case with 92 participant members was filed at NCDRC through best known lawyer Mr. Sushil Kaushik on 18.08.2016 and is still perused.
The poor response at NCDRC, fall of JP , Unitech etc projects and failure of “AMRAPALI LEISURE PARK DEVELOPERS PVT LTD” to deliver the project, the need of approaching Supreme Court Of India was understood through numerous meetings, group interactions and again consents of ALP buyers were sought with subscriptions. 135 members of the association contributed and ALPSWA approached Supreme Court Of India to redress the grievances through best available Real Estate Lawyer Mr. Madan Lal Lahoty on 29.11.2017, needless to mention that association pleaded for all the buyers of ALP in general .
“ IT SHALL CONTINUE TO REMAIN ENDAVOUR OF “ALPSWA” TO WORK FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF THE ENTIRE ALP BUYERS BROTHERN”
